GREENER AVIATION 2016
Following the success of its first edition in March 2014, 3AF organizes the second Greener Aviation conference: Achievements and perspectives, in Brussels, on October 11th to 13th, 2016. With the support of Clean Sky Joint Undertaking and the Council of European Aeronautical Societies (CEAS).
Greener aviation aims at providing an exclusive opportunity for delegates and participants to review and contribute to the challenges of a greener aviation internationally.
By welcoming contributions from worldwide projects and programs, whether EU, nationally or privately funded, and also including non-European projects, the conference will give a unique overview of the worldwide research efforts for improving the impact of aviation on the environment and new market standards. The first edition gathered around 300 high level attendees representing all the stakeholders (Governments, Industries, Medias, Academics & Research). This coming edition will welcome high contributions from E.U but also from the United States (NASA), Japan (METI), Brazil, Russia (TsAGI) or Canada (GaRDN). And we expect More than 500 leaders sharing the state of the art as far Climate change and Environmental issues are concerned.
The technical sessions will cover all the aircraft, engines, equipment and systems technologies, as well as air transport operations, for reducing greenhouse gases, local pollution and noise.
